Your account and your collection are personal. This policy explains how FZ Films handles information when you browse, buy or watch a film.

Information we use
We process your account email, username, securely hashed password, billing information, purchases, payment status and support correspondence. Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, access logs and security events. We do not store your full card number or card security code in WordPress.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and protect your account, process purchases, deliver films, maintain your library, send transactional messages, answer support requests, prevent fraud and meet applicable accounting and legal obligations. We rely on the grounds available under applicable law, including performance of your purchase contract, legal obligations, and consent where required. We do not sell your personal information or automatically subscribe you to a newsletter when you register.
Service providers
Our store uses WordPress and WooCommerce on Bluehost hosting. Stripe processes payments when you choose a Stripe payment method. Vimeo supplies the embedded film player when you open a purchased film. Support emails are handled through Gmail. Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces. These services may receive the information necessary to provide their functions, including device and network information.

Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies needed for login, your shopping bag, checkout and account security. Payment and playback providers may use cookies or similar technology needed to process a payment, prevent fraud or deliver the player. You can restrict cookies in your browser, but login, checkout or playback may then stop working. Optional advertising or analytics tracking, if introduced, must be explained and offered with the choices required by applicable law before it is used.
International processing
We operate from the United Arab Emirates. Our providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the relevant provider arrangements and safeguards. Contact us if you need details about the processing of your information.
Retention and security
Account and purchase information is retained while needed to provide your library and support. Transaction records may need to be retained after account closure for accounting, disputes and other legal obligations. Security logs and support messages are retained for their operational or legal purpose and then deleted or anonymised. Access is restricted to people and providers who need it to operate the service.
Your choices and rights
You can update your account details in My library. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and exercise any other rights available under applicable law, including restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or data portability where those rights apply. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. We may verify your identity and retain records that the law requires us to keep. Deleting an account may affect your ability to access purchased films; we will explain this when handling a deletion request.

Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required. Material changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
